During a recent public appearance, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo’s sister, Kim Ji Yoon, was embarrassed for being ignored on TV in one of the challenges of tvN’s new variety show.
On May 12th, the older sister of the idol made her TV debut on ‘Kill It: Style Creator War,’ where the first mission, “Photogenic,” brought together 40 photographers who took pictures of the participants, evaluating them based on the number of photos taken and the attention they received.
However, when Kim Ji Yoon stepped onto the stage to compete, she quickly noticed she was not receiving much attention from the photographers, so she got nervous and said, “Please take photos of me. Oh no, what do I do?”
When the influencer efforts didn’t help her, she suddenly lay down on the floor in a dramatic pose, but this unexpected move also failed to draw many cameras toward her, frustrating her. “This isn’t working, this isn’t working. I’m so embarrassed,” she said before stepping off the stage.
Later, in conversation with the production, she explained her unexpected pose, “I wanted to show a memorable side of myself, so I immediately lay down,” but also expressed her disappointment, “I was really flustered. I honestly didn’t expect people not to take photos of me like this.”
