Jisoo makes her Met Gala debut
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo made her long-anticipated Met Gala debut on May 4, 2026, wearing a custom Dior look on the red carpet. The South Korean idol followed the “Fashion Is Art” dress code with a sequin and floral peplum design. She styled her look with a choker, diamond earrings, and four rings. During her red carpet interview, the “Your Love” singer revealed that the full look took about 4 to 5 hours to complete.
Cartier Jewelry gives the outfit historical value
The jewelry was one of the central pieces of Jisoo’s gown. Her pink choker came from the Cartier Collection and dates back to around 1905, making it more than 120 years old. In addition, the BLACKPINK member wore Cartier Collection Foliate ear clips from 1948, doubling down on the historic pieces. These exclusive accessories gave a timeless feeling and a sense of preservation. They also fit the night’s dress code and theme by showing how fashion can be treated as art across different generations.

To elevate her facial expression, Jisoo finished the look with soft pink makeup and a low bun with long front pieces. She wore winged liner, shimmery pink and white eye shadow, light pink blush, and pink lipstick. These choices made the look come together in a similar color palette, giving the South Korean star an elegant and feminine vibe.
Jisoo completes a major BLACKPINK moment
Jisoo’s appearance at one of fashion’s biggest nights also marked a major moment for BLACKPINK fans, as all four members of the group attended this year. This makes BLACKPINK the first KPop girl group to attend the event with all the members. Beyond their 2026 appearance, Rosé debuted at the Met Gala in 2021, Jennie followed in 2023, and Lisa attended for the first time in 2025. Now that Jisoo has joined them, the quartet has finally walked the famous Met Gala red carpet.
