The film marks Jisoo’s movie debut, making her appearance feel essential, not optional. So when her name was nowhere to be found on the guest list, fans immediately started blaming YG Entertaiment, the company in charge of BLACKPINK’s activities, and Blisoo, Jisoo’s own company. Some accused them of favoring BLACKPINK’s group activities over Jisoo’s solo career, calling it a double standard.

But not everyone pointed fingers. A smaller crowd defended Jisoo, suggesting it might’ve been her own choice or tied to the group’s upcoming comeback. Recently, YG confirmed that BLACKPINK had finished shooting their soon-to-be-released music video, and they might be rehearsing for the DEADLINE world tour, which is set to kick off on July 5 at Goyang Stadium in Seoul, South Korea.
