BLACKPINK’s Jennie has reportedly purchased a commercial building in Yongsan gu, Seoul, for 20 billion KRW, which is about 13.7 million US dollars. According to reports released on February 11, 2026, the building is located in Dongbinggo dong and it was bought in cash, as no mortgage appears on the official property record.

The building is currently being used as the Iraqi Embassy in Korea and is located in an area known for hosting several foreign embassy residences. The reported price per pyeong is around 111 million KRW. Jennie reportedly purchased the property in May of last year and completed the ownership transfer in December of the same year. The location is also expected to increase in price as a result of developmental projects in the area.

Back in 2023, Jennie also purchased a luxury villa in UN Village for 5 billion KRW, which was also reportedly paid in full with cash. This purchase comes as BLACKPINK is preparing for their new release. The quartet is dropping their third mini-album, “Deadline,” featuring five tracks: “Jump,” “Go,” “Me,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.” The EP will be released on February 27, 2026, and it marks BLACKPINK’s first group recording since their 2022 album “Born Pink.”
