BLACKPINK’s Lisa has shaken the roots of the Kpop industry with her latest release, “Rockstar.” The song was greatly received not only by her fans but also by the general public. However, Lisa’s gratitude statement outraged BLINKS because they were not included in it.
Lisa took over Instagram to express her gratitude and feelings for the success of her new single. The idol thanked her team at RCA Records and We Are Loud, she even thanked her solo fan base, better known as Lilies. However, the lack of recognition to BLACKPINK’s fans, better known as BLINKS, led to a major controversy.
BLINKS stated that Lisa could have considered thanking both of the fandoms because they have been making a great effort to support Lisa’s new single. Ultimately, the idol’s words made the other fans feel disappointed.
BLACKPINK’s Lisa hasn’t addressed the controversy. However, some fans have taken a more positive view suggesting that BLINKS are also part of the Lilies if they are supporting Lisa’s solo work. Only time will tell if Lisa wants to apologize with BLINKS or if she will remain silent.
