During a recent interview for ELLE Korea, the BLACKPINK member Rosé reveals the unique names with which she added her groupmates on her phone and explained the reason behind those sharing more intimate details of their friendship with their fans.
She starts by revealing that for Jennie, she wrote her name followed by the teddy bear emoji and explained that her groupmate likes teddy bears, and that is why she put it, but also the singer said, “she is also cute, so i put a teddy bear for hers“.

For her groupmate Jisoo, Rosé decided to save her as ‘Sooyaa‘, which many know is her Instagram user, but that is not all, as she also added the turtle and rabbit emoji and explained that this is because “Jisoo’s nickname is Turtle Rabbit“.
Finally for Lisa, the idol added a white heart alongside her name; although she doesn’t remember the reason, she said, “She looks innocent…I usually don’t think so!“. However, later it became an inside joke as she revealed, “My phone had a function wherein it speaks the name when someone calls. (When she calls) it says, ‘Lisa White Heart’“, and it stuck.
