BLACKPINK has had an amazing comeback with “JUMP,” first teased during the “DEADLINE” world tour in South Korea. Since then, the girls have been gathering a wider audience worldwide and have received accolades on different South Korean music program circuits.
On August 3, a new episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo” was broadcast. As usual, the show had a great lineup of performers, including BTOB’s Minhyuk (HUTA), EPEX, SAY MY NAME, ICHILLIN’, Dragon Pony, ARrC, ASC2NT, Joosiq, Song Min Jun, cosmosy, TXT, Yena, XngHan&Xoul, STAYC, Yves, INFINITE’s Woohyun, and Ryu Yeon Ju.
This time, BLACKPINK’s “JUMP,” ALLDAY PROJECT’s “FAMOUS,” and TXT’s “Beautiful Strangers” were all competing for first place in the weekly competition. Ultimately, BLACKPINK took the win and emerged victorious with a total of 7,289 points, earning their sixth crown.
