BLACKPINK launches a limited edition capsule through a new partnership
BLACKPINK has joined forces with Disney and Complex for a limited edition capsule collection that gives fans more content to enjoy. The release became available on Complex.com at 12 noon ET on Thursday, March 5, 2026. This collection dropped shortly after BLACKPINK released their mini-album “DEADLINE,” adding a fashion twist to the group’s current excitement wave. This partnership also connects BLACKPINK’s image with a major entertainment brand, and that has a legacy among the infancies, expanding DEADLINE into younger audiences.

The designs mix Disney characters with BLACKPINK styling and fashion basics
The capsule is inspired by London punk fashion from the 1970s and includes tees, sweatshirts, crop tops, tank tops, a tote bag, and a fitted hat. Every purchase includes an exclusive photocard featuring one member, either Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, or Lisa. Disney global creative director Bobby Kim designed the collection and reworked Disney characters through a rebellious visual approach that resembles BLACKPINK’s vibe.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other characters are printed on the pieces with BLACKPINK branding on white, pink, and charcoal clothing. Kim described the capsule as a punk-inspired collection focused on individuality and confidence, and he linked that concept to BLACKPINK’s strong image and power in today’s pop culture.
“As a global pop-culture phenomenon, BLACKPINK’s fearless creativity and boundary-breaking style are at the heart of this capsule, making them the ideal creative force to kick off a high-impact series of collections with Complex.”
The release follows BLACKPINK’s mini-album
The drop comes one week after the DEADLINE mini-album and marked a short-lived comeback and the quartet’s first group project since “Born Pink” in 2022. Before this return, the group held the DEADLINE World Tour with just one new song titled “Jump” and the members’ solo tracks. During most of 2023 and 2024, Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo, and Jennie focused on their own projects, going from their debut solo albums to acting, fashion, and modeling.
