Through a new post on its social networks, BLACKPINK and Tamagotchi announce an exciting new collaboration emerging from this iconic form of recreation from the 90s.
YG Entertainment shared through its official accounts the first teaser for this new collaboration, announcing it will be available for all fans starting from December 23rd of the current year at 14:00 KST through Kakao Talk Gift.
In the new post, the agency shared the purchase link, the Kakao Talk Gift store, where there is a sneak peek of the final product with the release details and subscribed fans’ reactions. It is also expected that this will become the beginning of a BLACKPINK series of products.
“BLACKPINK’s iconic brand power and Tamagotchi’s retro sensibility meet, and it is expected to expand beyond simple toys to collectible items”, said a YG Plus representative.
