BLACKPINK with the release of “Pink Venom” reached the top of the music charts in several countries, as did the K-Pop girl group IVE, with the unreleased “After LIKE“. This Wednesday, August 24th, both groups broke a historical record on Spotify.
K-Pop is dominating music charts all over the world these days and after the new Spotify update, BLACKPINK comes up with “Pink Venom” at #3 (5.2 million streams) and IVE with ” After LIKE” (2.
1 million streams) at #23.
With this unprecedented achievement, for the first time in history, two girl groups simultaneously appear in the Spotify Global Top 25.

It should be noted that BLACKPINK premiered their new single at the top of Spotify Global. On its debut day, August 19th, “Pink Venom” received nearly 8 million streams worldwide in its first 24 hours on the audio platform.
