Billboard is officially expanding its chart universe, and this time, Korea gets the main character moment. Billboard Korea has launched two brand new charts backed by Billboard itself, which officially rolled out in 2025 and are designed to track how Korean music performs both worldwide and inside South Korea, using trusted streaming and digital sales data from major platforms.
The first chart, Billboard Korea Global K-Songs, focuses on how Korean music travels across borders. It measures listening and purchasing activity around the world, including Korea, to show which Korean songs are truly resonating on a global scale. Meanwhile, the Billboard Korea Hot 100 especializes on domestic success. This chart ranks the most popular songs in South Korea, offering a real-time proof of what listeners are playing in the country.
This week’s Billboard Korea Hot 100 Top 10 proves that point loud and clear. At No. 1 is “BBUU!” by PLAVE, followed by “Good Goodbye” by HWASA at No. 2. Lim Young Woong lands at No. 3 with “Eternal Moment,” while ALLDAY PROJECT’s “ONE MORE TIME” takes No. 4. Rounding up the top 5, PLAVE makes another appearance with “Bongsoong a” at No. 5. Other acts such as NMIXX, LE SSERAFIM and KPop Demon Hunters’ HUNTRIX also made an appearance on the top 10.
