The renowned Disney actress who rose to fame in Hollywood and who recently made her foray into the subscription page public, was quickly gaining “customers” who did not hesitate to pay for her content, expecting to see explicit photos and videos.

But everything is has gone back by the new policies that OnlyFans has announced, where it prohibits all kinds of explicit content, and many “workers” of the application are blaming the actress.

That incursion not only opened the possibilities for the singer and dancer, but also for the rest of the people who have an active account on the network, since their arrival brought hundreds of new users who would be willing to pay and run into other profiles. However, things did not turn out as anyone expected.

“For us, as creators of OnlyFans, what Bella Thorne did was a problem, it even hurt us… They thought Bella was going to get naked. A lot of people came in, and then Bella sent a mass message to all the people with a video, and they thought that in that video they were going to see more of her, but they were things that they had already seen. Many people bought that video and the money that came in was a lot, “said Ospina.

Bella, did not share nudity or new content, so many users felt cheated and disappointed with the platform, to the point of asking for a refund. This affected the rest of the active community as OnlyFans changed the policies for creators.

“It lowered the number of tips per day and the maximum price that you can put on a video. It even restricted the subscription value.

For us it was bad, instead of driving us, it screwed us up,” added Alejandro, a ” worker “from Onlyfans.

Bella, did not share nudity or new content, so many users felt cheated and disappointed with the platform, to the point of asking for a refund.

This, according to some content creators, was what affected the rest of the active community as OnlyFans changed the policies for creators.

The platform formally announced that it will block content that they consider sexually explicit, that is, that can be classified as pornography.

The ban will include photos and videos showing explicit sexual behavior. However, nude photos will still be allowed.

This decision came after pressure imposed by its banking partners and payment providers, the company said in a statement on Thursday, August 19.

OnlyFans achieved great popularity in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic and already has at least 130 million users.
