Recently the terrible news was shared that a beautiful young woman of only 26 years old had passed away and the news had a great impact since she was an Uruguayan beauty queen, who would be a candidate for Miss World.
Beauty queen candidate for Miss World dies at 26 years of age
Sherika de Armas, former Miss Uruguay passed away on October 13, 2023 after a two-year fight against cervical cancer, the news was shared by Mayk de Armas, who confirmed the news on social networks and expressed his love and pain for his sister.
The current Miss Uruguay, Carla Romero, and the winner of Miss Uruguay 2021, Lola de los Santos, have expressed their condolences and tributes.
The beautiful model always shared her taste for the world of beauty pageants:
“I always wanted to be a model, whether beauty, advertising or runway. I like everything related to fashion and I think that within what is a beauty pageant, the dream of any girl is to have the opportunity to participate in Miss Universe. I am very happy to be able to live this experience”,
The beautiful model was very active in different activities, not only in beauty pageant matters, as she founded Shey de Armas Beauty Studio, a company focused on personal care and beauty products, as well as she was interested in social impact issues with her work as a volunteer at the Perez Foundation.
