aespa’s Winter is currently the talk of the town after the idol missed her chance to throw the ceremonial first pitch during the Doosan Bears game. Even though the idol was hyping the audience for her appearance at the game, which ultimately didn’t occur.
On August 28, aespa’s Winter appeared at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on August 28 after rain forced the Doosan Bears game to be called off. The idol posted an Instagram story with the following caption: “Please don’t cancel due to rain,” set to K.Will’s “Please Don’t.” before the event was postponed.
Despite her hopeful message, the game was cancelled due to the weather. Winter also released another selfie showing a more somber mood: “It Can’t Be True,” following the announcement of the game’s outcome.
The pitch would’ve marked Winter’s return to the Jasmil mound after two years, as she celebrated her last pitch in July 2024 at a game against the Kiwoom Heroes. For now, aespa will embark on their “SYNK: COMPLæXITY,” tour in Seoul.
