BTS has opened another strong era in Australia with ARIRANG debuting at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart on March 27, 2026. Released through Virgin Music Group and Geffen, the album also finished the week as the best-selling vinyl release, according to ARIA. With these chart results, BTS earns their third #1 album in Australia and continues to build their chart history there. The group has now placed seven albums inside the Australian top 10, including Love Yourself: Tear in 2018 (#6), Map Of The Soul: 7 in 2020 (#1), Be in 2020 (#2), and Proof in 2022 (#1).
The success of the ARIRANG album was matched by strong results on the singles chart. “SWIM” debuted at #4, making it the top new entry of the week on the ARIA Singles Chart. That track became BTS’ sixth top 10 single in Australia. Earlier top 10 hits included “Boy With Luv” in 2019 (#10), “Dynamite” in 2020 (#2), “Butter” in 2021 (#6), “Permission To Dance” in 2021 (#6), and “My Universe” with Coldplay in 2021 (#7). The group also placed more songs inside the ARIA Top 50, with “Body To Body” entering at #26, “Hooligan” at #46, and “FYA” at #48.
Adding to the excitement, Australian fans will have the chance to see BTS live next year on tour. The group’s world tour in support of ARIRANG is scheduled to stop in Melbourne on February 12 and February 13, 2027, and in Sydney on February 20 and February 21, 2027.
