While Ariana Grande admits she wasn’t always a fan of the color pink, her stepping into Glinda’s shoes has changed that. Now, she’s all that color! What’s more, the nine-piece R.E.M. Taking from the musical, movie, and books, the singer has crafted a collection that’s not only glam but deeply tied to the Glinda character, as she expressed:
“My pop persona is such a characterized version on its own. Beauty really helped me deconstruct that person and find Glinda. I just wanted to live in the DNA and mindset of the character. Now I love the color pink and it feels like part of me. I think it’s something I’ll be forever intertwined with in a very special way.”
