Anyma was scheduled to close the Coachella Main Stage on Friday, April 10, 2026, during the first weekend of the festival. The show had been prepared for a full year, and it was rumored to include BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Joji

After the cancellation, Anyma responded in the comments of an Instagram post shared by Coachella. He apologized to fans and said his team had done everything they could to bring the show to life. The producer also explained that he had spent a full year working on the production and repeated that safety had to come first. His set was also expected to have guests, including BLACKPINK’s Lisa, who is featured on his latest track “Bad Angel,” and Joji, who participated in “Beautiful.”

It was also clarified that his team and Coachella were exploring an alternative to have American-Italian play in weekend 1. However, the option was later discarded because no time slots were available. At the time of writing, Anyma is still expected to perform his set for weekend 2 on April 17.

The canceled set was meant to introduce a new creative era

The performance was expected to be the global debut of ÆDEN, Anyma’s new live production. It would have followed his residency at Sphere Las Vegas in late 2024 and early 2025, where he presented The End of Genesys. Based on his recent videos and singles like “Bad Angel” and “Beautiful,” the new era appears to mix futuristic imagery with ancient visual themes, including ruins and cyborg angels.
