Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hosted an art event in the United States. Our fave estranged royals decided to shine their light on The Kinsey African American Art and History Collection, which was exhibited in late March. As the event was taking place, Prince Harry and Meghan hung out with the crème de la crème of guests, including Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles.
Yes, you read that right! During the exhibit, which celebrated African American history and art, Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, was photographed with Queen Bey’s mother, as we told you previously. But is this the first time the Knowles family (and Beyoncé, for that matter) has been tied to Prince Harry and Meghan?
The short answer to our previous question is no, but here’s the tea: reportedly, both the “Single Ladies” hitmaker and her husband, Jay-Z, were seen with Meghan at the 2019 Brit Awards. This marks the first time these families had a crossover.
After that, Prince Harry and Meghan met with the artists again in July 2019 for the premiere of The Lion King in London, which Beyoncé made the soundtrack for. Finally, Prince Harry, Meghan, and her mom were photographed enjoying Beyonce’s “Renaissance World Tour” in September 2023.
And that’s how the British royalty meets pop music royalty!
