Since all members of BTS are enlisted in the military, the fans haven’t had as many updates as they would like. However, the boys have been active in the music scene with projects recorded before their enlistment. Now, Jin is the first one to be discharged and all the members will reunite to celebrate this special moment.
It was reported that there will be no official discharge ceremony due to safety concerns. However, the boys are set to celebrate his discharge at a private location in Seoul instead of the military base because of the potential crowding issues.
Jin served diligently as an instructor at the 5th Infantry Division’s training center and is set to complete his 18 months of service and be discharged on June 12th. On top of that, On June 13th, BTS celebrates their 11th anniversary since their debut.
The group is also set to celebrate their grand return with fans at the offline event “2024 FESTA” held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. It is expected that BigHit Music will release a couple of photos of Jin’s emotional home return in the days to come.
