Netflix has finally announced that Alice in Borderland season 3 will premiere on September 25, 2025, and fans already feel the suspense! Alongside the date reveal came an intriguing trailer that teases more deadly challenges, haunting visuals, and the return of familiar faces. Directed again by Shinsuke Sato and based on Haro Aso’s manga, the Japanese survival thriller show is ready to pull viewers back onto their screens.

After escaping the Borderland at the end of season 2, Arisu and Usagi seem to be living a calm, married life. But peace doesn’t last long. Season 3 kicks off with mysterious visions and a sudden disappearance that throws them back into the game. Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya return in their lead roles, along with Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, and Katsuya Maiguma. New faces join the madness, including Kento Kaku as Ryuji, a man researching the afterlife who becomes Usagi’s guide.

Netflix is doubling down on Japanese live-action hits, and Alice in Borderland is taking the crown. Season 2 debuted at number one on the global non-English chart in 2022, and season 3 is expected to go even bigger. As Japan leans harder into the streaming age, Netflix is pushing hard with new titles like Last Samurai Standing, Bullet Train Explosion, and YuYu Hakusho. But for now, all eyes are back on Borderland. September can’t come fast enough!
