The birthday of Jisoo, one of the talented members of BLACKPINK, has brought a long-awaited news about the K-Pop star. According to YG Entertainment, the singer’s long-awaited solo music debut is very close to happening.
The information was brought by Korean news portal “Soompi“, sharing the full text from the agency, also telling that the album is already being recorded and should be released in 2023.
“BLACKPINK’s JISOO is currently working recording his solo album. While fulfilling a busy world tour schedule since last year, she finished the album cover photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she has time.
She will greet (fans) soon with good news“, the company’s statement said.

With the confirmation, Jisoo becomes the latest BLACKPINK member to make a solo debut, the first being Jennie on November 12, 2018 with her single “Solo“. Rosé debuts in parallel to the group in 2021 with the release of the single album “R“, featuring two songs “On The Ground” and “Gone“.
