The queens of aespa stormed The Jennifer Hudson Show on September 24th, 2025, and left everyone, including J. Hud herself, absolutely shook! Performing their recent single, “Rich Man,” the quartet of Ningning, Winter, Karina, and Giselle lit up the stage with choreography, fierce vocals, and undeniable visuals. Even Jennifer herself was caught singing along, eyes wide with admiration.
After the performance, the girls sat down for a chat, when the “Dreamgirls” actress asked the group about the inspiration behind their recently performed song. That’s when Giselle spilled the tea: Cher was the reference behind “Rich Man.” The iconic quote, “My mom said to me, ‘Marry a rich man,’ I said, ‘I am a rich man,’” became the backbone of this empowering rock-infused track.
The fun kept rolling with a round of “Most Likely To.” Fans learned Giselle and Ningning are most likely to forget lyrics, Winter would be the first to try bungee jumping, and Karina, along with Ningning are the biggest pranksters. On the work front, aespa is currently touring Asia with their “Synk: Aexis Line” Tour, which will resume on October 4th in Japan and will also visit China, Thailand, and Indonesia.
