The Colombian singer Shakira is supposedly on her way out of Barcelona, where she has resided for at least the past eight years. She is said to have been pressured to move out ever since her relationship with footballer Gerard Piqué ended.
Because she encouraged her ex-partner to pursue her soccer career, Shakira now resides in Spain rather than the US. It was revealed at the end of December 2022 that the performer had delayed her relocation to Miami due to the ill health of her father, William Mebarak.
According to the “Mamarazzis” podcast, Shakira intends to relocate to Miami the following month:
“What they tell us today is that she already has a date set to go to Miami, which would be April 1. If all the stars align and everything ends up working out, she wants to leave now,” Laura Fa mentioned.
For her part, Vázquez emphasized that this information was provided to them by the ex-“closest couple’s environment,” who had previously made their split public nearly nine months prior.
In addition, they assured that the ex-footballer is concentrating on his children:

Following their split, Piqué and Shakira came to an agreement that stipulates the Spaniard will be permitted to visit his children whenever he pleases and will be permitted to take part in 60% of their vacations, making up for the time he will miss out on because they will no longer be living in Barcelona.
