TUIDE has recorded the highest first-week sales among female KPop groups that debuted in South Korea in 2026. According to Hanteo Chart, the HYBE breakthrough act sold 112,282 copies of their first mini-album, “TUNE & PLAY,” during its first week. The EP was released on August 24, 2026, and the sales figures were announced on August 31.

Despite leading this year’s rookie female artists, TUIDE’s debut sales remain considerably lower than the numbers achieved by previous girl groups formed by HYBE-affiliated labels. For example, LE SSERAFIM sold 307,450 copies of “FEARLESS” during its first week in May 2022, while NewJeans had 311,271 copies sold with their debut album, “New Jeans,” in August 2022. ILLIT later surpassed both groups by selling 380,056 copies of “SUPER REAL ME” during their first week of tracking in March 2024.
The competition between TUIDE and other rookie girl groups has also been close, potentially affecting their first-week sales. OURBIRTHDAY recorded 111,324 first-week sales with their debut single album, “OUR BIRTH DAY,” leaving a difference of only 958 copies between the two groups. Meanwhile, TUIDE also showed promising digital performance, with their debut song “SUN KISS” reaching #24 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs chart in South Korea on August 28 and #5 on Apple Music’s Today’s Top 100: Korea on August 29.
