In recent reports, NCT 127 announced they are preparing to make their first comeback after Mark‘s departure, taking all fans by surprise with an unexpected new lineup.

On July 6th, a new exclusive report from the Korean media MyDaily revealed the boy group will make their comeback with their 7th full album on August 24th, marking the first release without the participation of Mark.

This will be NCT 127’s first comeback in two years, since their sixth studio album, ‘Walk,’ in 2024. Additionally, although it currently has 7 members, due to Doyoung and Jungwoo‘s military service, this comeback will have 5 members: Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan.

In April of this year, Mark’s exclusive 10-year contract came to an end, and he has decided not to renew it with the intention of prioritizing and freely exploring his career as a solo artist.
