CORTIS is having such an amazing run with their single, “REDRED,” across various South Korean music programs. The idols, who already reached the 10-award milestone, have proven why they deserve a special spot in the Kpop scene nowadays.
On May 30, a new episode of Music Core was broadcast. As usual, the show had an amazing lineup of performers, from rookies to Kpop legends, featuring Park Hyun Kyu, YOUNITE, xikers, ONEWE, FLARE U, Queenz Eye, IDID, A, LPHA DRIVE ONE, XLOV, CORTIS, ILLIT, ITZY, aespa, LE SSERAFIM, ZEROBASEONE, and Taeyong.
The show made its special announcement of the top nominees for the weekly crown. ILLIT with “It’s Me” placed third with 5,697 points, while ZEROBASEONE with “TOP 5” came in second with 6,457 points. Ultimately, CORTIS secured first place with a total of 7,000 points, earning the trophy for “REDRED.” The idols had a beautiful acceptance speech:
