IVE fans were impressed on January 8, 2026, after IVE’s An Yujin shared a surprisingly funny story online. Even though the KPop sensation is the face of a brand-new Hana Bank card, she could not actually get one for herself. Taking things to Bubble, the IVE member shared that she found out about the release of the special “Yujin Card” and asked how she could apply. But instead of a welcome message, the idol was told she was not eligible for that product.

“Hana Bank said Yujin’s card is coming out
so I said, ‘Oh I want one too.’
I asked, ‘How can I get it?’
and they said…
I’m not eligible to receive it…”
The card she tried to sign up for is not just any regular debit card. It is officially called the Hana Nara Sarang Card, and it is made only for people with military service responsibilities. The applicants must be under the age of 38, and be individuals who have undergone or are scheduled to undergo military physical examinations, active-duty soldiers, social service workers, or discharged veterans approved by the Military Manpower Administration.
The product is also used for receiving military pay while also functioning as an ID during service. Due to the criteria, civilians are excluded from applying to the product. As a result, civilians are not eligible to apply for the product. Even Yujin, who modeled for the Hana Bank card, is ineligible for the product. Meanwhile, she will keep cheering on those who can apply with a smile!
