A few weeks ago, Pitchfork launched its 2025 Readers’ Poll. Thousands of readers voted on the best songs of the year, selecting a total of 100 songs that have made major waves this year. With a mix of pop, electronic music, art rock, and artpop, Pitchfork reveals the best 100 songs according to their readers.
This time, we’re bringing the top 10 for you to tap into the best singles according to their audience. Rosalía appears two times on the list, and most importantly, taking the top spot with one of the songs from her most recent album, “Lux.” Meanwhile, art rock bands Wednesday and Geese make an appearance in the top 10, following widespread acclaim of their albums. Rounding up the top 10, pop divas Chappell Roan, FKA Twigs, Addison Rae, and Lady Gaga appear in the top 10 with some of the standout tracks of their respective projects.
