NCT’s Doyoung conquers the Music Core crown with “Memory”

NCT’s Doyoung is making waves in the South Korean music program circuits after becoming the highlight of every episode. The idol continues his meteoric rise as a solo artist, securing his third music show win with “Memory.”

On June 21, a new episode of MBC’s Music Core featured Doyoung, who geared up the audience with a powerful and emotional performance of his latest track. In addition, Double One, USPEER, HITGS, Kickflip, Hearts2Hearts, izna, KISS OF LIFE, NOWZ, and ILLIT also took the stage to make their respective comebacks.

Just before the show ended, the hosts took over the stage with the nominated idols for first place. This time, Doyoung took first place for the third week of June, making another milestone in his flourishing solo career. As usual, the idol delivered an emotional and heartfelt speech:

You keep telling me not to feel sorry, but I can’t help but feel a little sorry. Thank you for loving me more than I love myself. I’ll try to become someone who can love you more than I love myself. Thank you again.”
