Louis Partridge does not mind living in the spotlight as Olivia Rodrigo’s other half! In his September 12th, 2025, interview with Variety, the 22-year-old actor admitted that he is perfectly fine with people recognizing him more for his relationship than for his film roles. “I can handle that,” he said with a smile, adding, “I’m very happy, and I think she is too, so all is good in our world.” He even went on to acknowledge the “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo” nickname, which he says is something he’s had for a while.

Their romance first sparked chatter back in October 2023 when they were spotted together in London. By December, the rumors turned official when they were photographed sharing kisses and hugs in New York City. Since then, they’ve been inseparable, even making headlines this summer at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival, in which Olivia performed. During her set, she revealed that “So American” was inspired by “falling in love with this boy from London,” leaving Louis surprised.

He later called the moment “surreal” and confessed he had no clue the shoutout was coming. Olivia Rodrigo also teased fans by talking about how she picked up British traditions like “pints at noon” and “sticky toffee pudding,” something Louis proudly took credit for. With Olivia conquering the music scene and Louis building his acting career, the young couple seems to have become the ultimate relationship goals.
