A viral post on February 12, 2025, accused two fansites—Eudemonic (IVE’s Leeseo) and Sodapop (LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae)—of being linked to deepfake crimes against IVE’s Wonyoung. The worst part? It looks like the operator of both fansites was blacklisted by Starship Entertainment last year during the deepfake AI scandal in South Korea.
The controversy comes from the infamous New Nth Room case, a digital crime scandal that exposed the circulation of deepfake content targeting female celebrities, including minors through Telegram. With Wonyoung confirmed as a victim back in September 2024, fans are thinking that the blacklisted person is connected to the deepfake scandal.

While no official confirmation has been made about the direct involvement of these sites, the K-pop fandom isn’t waiting around. Fans are in total outrage and disbelief, demanding accountability on social media. And while Starship Entertainment (IVE’s agency) affirmed they would take legal action, these fansites haven’t officially been confirmed to be involved in the controversy.
