aespa is still reigning supreme! The K-pop girl group secured the No. 1 spot in the September girl group brand reputation rankings, leaving MYs (that’s the name aespa fans have) cheering. Coming in right after them are IVE, LE SSERAFIM, and (G)I-DLE, all of whom have major releases this year.

The brand reputation rankings, which are determined by factors like media coverage and community engagement, now show aespa holding strong with a brand reputation index of over 5 million. Some key buzzwords driving their success? “Supernova,” “MY,” and “metal taste,” all of which reflect the popularity of their most recent era and debut studio album.
“Armaggedon,” dropped on May 27, 2024, is the girl group’s first album. It has spawned one of K-pop’s biggest hits this year, “Supernova,” and it has contributed to build aespa’s legacy. The quartet has had quite a year, both with their South Korean release, their Japanese debut, and their tour.
