That’s because both were recently spotted at the Japanese music show “Music Station.“ This dazzling reunion comes at the perfect time, with Billie Eilish promoting her latest album “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” in East Asia, and NewJeans debuting in the Japanese market with “Right Now” and “Supernatural.”
Here’s the scoop: as Billie Eilish was walking on the “Music Station” set, she greeted the four NewJeans members Hanni, Danielle, Minji, and Haerin (unfortunately, the fifth member, Hyein, was not present because she was recovering from an injury). The “LUNCH” singer also found time to mingle with the K-pop stars and even took some funny photos with Hanni. About their encounter, Billie Elish said:
“And I know these girlies, my friends. So I feel very honored to be sitting here.”
This is not the first time these Gen-Z singers connect! Previously, they were seen performing Lollapalooza Chicago 2023 and later meeting off-stage.
