Joni Mitchell to perform at the 2024 Grammys

The names of the talents who will be performing at the next Grammy Awards are finally being revealed and one of the names that has stood out the most is Joni Mitchell, who will be performing for the first time at the awards ceremony and has made everyone excited since she is 80 years old.

The nine-time Grammy winner will now be part of an impressive performance lineup that also includes Dua Lipa, Burna Boy, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, U2, Luke Combs and Billy Joel, the Recording Academy said in a press release Sunday.Mitchell’s 2023 live CD, “Joni Mitchell at Newport,” has earned her a nomination in the Best Folk CD category. According to the Recording Academy, the CD captures her unexpected return to the stage at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival in Newport, Rhode Island, after a 20-year hiatus.

Joni Mitchell will perform for the first time at the 2024 Grammy Awards, which will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 4. Given that Mitchell has been a Grammy mainstay for many years, it’s odd that she has never taken the stage on music’s biggest night. In 1970, he received his first of nine Grammy Awards for which he was eligible. In 2002, the Recording Academy also awarded him the Lifetime Achievement Award.

What do you think about it? Do you think it’s a good performance?
