One of the most interesting and funniest movies we saw in this 2023 belongs to the horror genre, but with a touch of absurd comedy that has delighted the world. If we think we’ve seen it all, now comes a pretty funny movie, full of blood and lots of laughs.
Slotherhouse, one of the best horror movies with a vengeful sloth
Horror movies have the benefit of being able to play with themes of the most interesting and absurd and there is a movie that has a sloth as a protagonist, but not just any protagonist, a sloth that has a lot of passion for blood and what seemed to be, full of revenge.
If you have no idea what the movie is about, here is the synopsis:
Emily Young, a senior, wants to be elected president of her sorority. She adopts a cute sloth, thinking it can become the new mascot and help her win, until a series of deaths implicate the sloth as a prime suspect in the murders.
The film is directed by Matthew Goodhue, with a screenplay by Bradley Fowler, story by Bradley Fowler and Katie Lanigan, music by Sam Ewin, cinematography by Mark David and a fun cast including Lisa Ambalavanar, Sydney Craven, Olivia Rouyre, Bianca Beckles-Rose, Tiff Stevenson, among others.
If you dare to watch the film don’t expect anything philosophical or anything out of the reality in which it is placing us: A bloodthirsty sloth and a group of young girls who will be overwhelmed by the situation full of murder and lots of laughs.
