A few months ago a movie came out that turned everyone’s eyes pink, and the Barbie movie reminded people of the magic of toys and how they have accompanied us throughout our growth and that is why the movie became such a success.
After breaking the box office worldwide, people wondered what would happen with Barbie and believed that the best way to find out would be with a second part of the movie, which has not been confirmed, but rumors are more active than ever.
Rumors of a new Barbie movie start and it could be about Ken
When the second tape was released, rumors of a sequel also came out, but it has been through interviews that Margot Robbie has commented that she is not very interested in the idea of having a sequel with her as the protagonist.
As far as I remember, at some point the actress would have said that she doesn’t see a future for Barbie outside of what we saw on screen, but that the idea of a Ken story wouldn’t be too crazy, but an interview with Greta, the director, has left everything with more possibilities
“We had too much material for Ken. We were writing and writing and writing,” she explained in the interview.
Same question, slightly different answer. In statements picked up by AP Entertainment, Margot Robbie hinted that no: “I think we gave it our all on this one. We didn’t make it to be a trilogy or something. Greta went all out on this movie, so I can’t imagine what would be next.”
