Okay Kpop lovers! The Melon Music Awards 2023 took place yesterday, December 2 in South Korea. The award show was organized by Melon (a music store and streaming service) and Kakao Entertainment. The jaw-dropping show was hosted by An Yujin, and it featured dazzling performances from acts such as: aespa, NewJeans, NCT Dream, RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE, IVE and more!
The list of performances was announced on November 8, 13, 15, 22, and 27. It includes some of Kpop’s biggest names and the songs they were performing. Most of them did a medley or combined their most popular tracks this year.
For example, NewJeans put together all the six tracks of their 2nd mini album: “New Jeans,” “Super Shy,” “ETA,” “Cool With You,” “Get Up” and “ASAP” in special remix versions for the show. Similarly, NCT Dream did a spectacular medley with “Broken Melodies,” “Posion” and “ISTJ.” IVE didn’t fall short and went for “Baddie,” “Kistch,” “Blue Blood” and “I Am.”
