United States president Joe Biden mistakes Taylor Swift for Britney Spears and mentions Beyoncé’s tour

Recently, United States President Joe Biden was seen mixing Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, and Beyoncé up. It all happened during the annual White House turkey pardon event, where the president spared these poor animals from being served on a dinner plate for Thanksgiving.

Now, while Joe was 100% about saving these turkeys, he wasn’t so clear about the name-dropping he did. First, started expressing that turkeys Liberty and Bell were an example of hard work and patience. Then, he tried to add a dad joke to his speech, saying:

“You could say it’s even harder than getting a ticket to the Renaissance tour or, or Britney’s tour. She’s down, it’s kind of warm in Brazil right now.”

While we think Mr. President was trying to come up with a funny example to illustrate how much turkeys Liberty and Bell deserved to be spared, he totally got it wrong. “The Renaissance Tour” concluded a few months ago and the pop diva touring and performing in Brazil was Taylor Swift, not Britney Spears!

Can’t blame Mr. Biden, that’s a mix of pop royalty!
