The renowned watch and electronics company, Casio, is reportedly planning to take legal action against Shakira‘s recent song, her collaboration with producer Bizaraps, in which part of the lyrics denigrates the famous company with a comparison to the Swiss watch brand Rolex.

The song ‘Bzrp Music Sessions vol 53‘ by Shakira together with the Argentine producer, is going viral due to references to her former marriage, with her ex-husband, ex-footballer Gerard Piqué, and the woman with whom he was unfaithful, Clara Chia Marti, denigrating and attacking the former Barcelona FC player and his current partner.

In one of the refrains that Shakira sings, there was a phrase that attracted a lot of attention, where she compared the brand of watches and appliances Casio with the luxury watch brand Rolex.

“You traded a Rolex for a Casio“, exclaimed the singer.

That phrase has generated all kinds of reactions in the networks, reaching the hands of some Casio workers, who could initiate a lawsuit against the Colombian for defamation, damage to image and denigration.

Analyzing the situation, the prestigious Japanese company is completely humiliated by the comparison of the singer, so the legal option would be very likely.
