BTSRM has finally announced his solo album titled “Indigo” that has filled all ARMY with emotion, since although the idol has previously released mixtapes, this project will be his official debut solo album. So fans have broken down the symbolism and meaning of the name.

The artist’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC issued an announcement about the release where it revealed impressive details, such as its release on December 2nd this year and that it will feature collaborations with various artists.

Following the announcement of the album’s title, fans were quick to analyze the meaning behind it, and pointed out certain ways in which “Indigo” is related to RM, BTS, and the art that the K-Pop group leader is so passionate about.

Furthermore, the word represents great things spiritually, both our deepest thoughts and spiritual wisdom. On the other hand, according to The Spiritual Center it is a color that represents “devotion and sincerity“.

Another ARMY indicated the meaning in Korean, which could denote that it is a play on words to represent “the color of Nam“, which is equal to “the color of Namjoon

Another ARMY theory is related to Isaac Newton and the inclusion of indigo in his color spectrum. The physicist wanted to include seven colors instead of six in his color wheel, and the number seven is of great importance to BTS as there are seven members.
