We wanted to provide an opportunity for artists and fans to communicate more closely across borders and language barriers. I look forward to getting closer”, YG Entertainment stated.

The project marks the return of the South Korean girl group, which had been inactive for over a year, with the members pursuing solo projects. According to YG, BLACKPINK is expected to shoot a music video later in July and release a song in August.
