Iggy Azalea fans can celebrate, the album “End of An Era” already has a release date. The Australian rapper announced that the album will go to digital platforms on August 13th – Friday of next week.
The title, “End Of An Era”, marks her turn to her 30s (she is 31) and refers to the end of the 20s.
The album will be divided into four segments, each representing a stage from 20 to 30 years old. Iggy Azalea turned to her past – both personal and artistic.
“The first part of my album is more electronic and experimental, and it kind of reflects my mixtape times. The 24-year-old section of the album is more mainstream and pop-influenced.
The 28 is much more urban, with a heavy drum sound.
And the final section of the album, from the 30s, brings the final songs, which really represent where I am today”, he says.

In her most recent single, “I am the Stripclub”, Iggy Azalea gave a taste of what’s to come. The cover makes a reference to the video for “Work” , released by the Australian rapper in 2013. On the cover of “I am the Stripclub”, Iggy Azalea poses in front of a truck. In the 2013 clip, she sang part of the song in front of a truck as well.
In another releated news with Iggy Azalea, she says she will have a few years off from music.
“‘End of an Era’ is so special to me because after releasing my album next month, it will take me a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m working on. feeling passionate and inspired in addition to the music. I’m excited for you to see different sides to me in the future” she said last month.
“Switching my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what’s right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m doing here! I really love this album and I just want my fans to enjoy it with me.
