When we think of Zac Efron the first thing we think of is our childhood and the impact his role had on an entire generation, but just as it happened to us, it happened to many people about Matthew Perry.

The friends actor passed away recently and the industry has already mourned him, because he was a beloved actor for everyone and especially for Zac Efron. Actor with whom he shared screen and they had a good friendship. After the death of the friends actor, rumors of a possible biopic came out and people have wanted Zac to play him.

Zac Efron could play Matthew Perry in biopic

Efron and Perry collaborated on the 2009 comedy “17 Again,” in which Efron played the younger version of Mike O’Donnell, Perry’s character, a 37-year-old father looking to rewrite his life at 17.

“I was very honored,” Efron told Extra TV at the Dallas premiere of his upcoming film “The Iron Claw” on Wednesday.

“It would be extraordinary and, of course, I’m still really devastated that he’s gone. Yeah, we’ll see what happens,” he added.

Recall that recently, Athenna Crosby, commented on one of the interests that Perry might have about him and his struggle.

He said he wanted to make a movie about his life, that he had worked with Zac Efron in the past on a movie and that he wanted him to play a younger version of him in a promising biopic about his life and that he would be asking him soon,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
