White House shares an edited image making fun of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding

A social media post referenced the couple's celebration and revived the long-running dispute between Taylor Swift and President Donald Trump

The White House attracted attention after sharing an edited image on social media following Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s marriage on July 3, 2026. The wedding took place on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden, drawing strong attention and speculation from both fans and the media. Meanwhile, the altered photo changed the digital marquee outside Madison Square Garden to read “Trump Is Your President.

The official White House account posted the picture on X with the caption “IT’S HAPPENED!!!” The image referenced the real display outside the popular New York venue, which originally congratulated the couple by showing the message “JUST&T MARRIED!” against a pink background following their wedding.

The exchange seems to have continued a public rivalry between Donald Trump and Taylor Swift that began in 2018 and intensified after the “Blank Space” singer endorsed Kamala Harris during the 2024 United States presidential election. The Republican politician later responded to her siding with the Democratic candidate by posting “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on Truth Social, his own social media platform.

Despite their long public disagreement, the president later had friendlier words to say after the pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end announced their engagement in August 2025. During a meeting, he described Travis as a great player and a great person, and also called Taylor a terrific person. “I wish them a lot of luck,” he said, using a nicer tone compared to previous remarks about the singer and songwriter.
