BTS star Jimin is having fans ready to defend him again, all after his hidden track “Letter” was uploaded to streaming platforms under someone else’s name. Originally released in 2023 as part of his debut solo album FACE, the song was meant as a personal message to fans. But recently, it was spotted under an unfamiliar name, Mirry3m, across platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and TikTok.
“Letter” was never released digitally. It’s only listenable on physical copies of “FACE,” which helped drive over 1.45 million album sales. On the very first day, fans bought more than 940,000 copies just to get their hands on this exclusive track. Two years later, fans are demanding Jimin’s credit in the song as the main artist, especially since it just appeared under someone else’s name.
ARMY (that’s BTS’ fandom name) is demanding that streaming platforms correct the artist information and take action against the unauthorized uploader. And while Jimin has released more projects since “FACE,” “Letter” still holds deep emotional value for fans and should also be respected as Jimin’s and the team who worked with him as their song.
