BTS’ V has become a bigger influence in the fashion industry in the last couple of years. The idol’s striking visuals and fashion sense have made him worthy of appearing in tens of magazines, including one of the most popular ones in South Korea, W Korea.
Previously, the idol was announced as the cover star for W Korea’s September issue, appearing as CELINE’s global ambassador. The magazine revealed the first photoshoots of the idol and also released the behind-the-scenes footage.
To build anticipation ahead of W Korea’s issue release, the magazine rolled out a four-part video series, releasing one episode each day. The sneak peek at the photoshoot showcases Taehyng’s charm and presence and explains why W Korea magazine chose this kind of 18th-century aesthetic.
“The photoshoot with V took place in a lush park overlooking the Seine River, at an 18th-century castle situated right at its heart. You may recall the black-and-white photo taken in front of the castle from the already-released covers. In this video, he can be seen checking his reflection in a car window during the shoot.”
