TXT’s Soobin reveals he was bullied during school days

Soobin opens up about being bullied for being a trainee

Through a recent interview, TXT’s Soobin reveals he was bullied during school days for being a K-Pop trainee, and he hopes they regret their actions now.

On May 4th, a new episode of ‘Zzanbro Shin Dong-yup‘ was released with TXT’s leader and member Beomgyu as special guests, who shared details of their music comeback with the mini album ‘7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns‘ and more.

During their talk, Soobin told about his school days, revealing that he was quiet but became famous for his participation in talent shows, drawing the attention of seniors, and then because he was a trainee, he was pointed out as rude.

“I was always so sleepy back then, so I’d just keep my head down on the desk. Because of that, kids would say things like, He’s acting like that on purpose because he’s a trainee and doesn’t want to show his face or call me rude and things like that…”

He continued revealing that he was bullied by some classmates, explaining the reason, “I was a trainee and had to leave school early every day; the other kids were pretty jealous and envious,” and revealed what classmates used to do to bother him:

“Thinking back now, it’s actually quite hurtful. Back then, I was just so tired. When I tried to leave early, they would close the door to block me from going out. Things like that happened even when they blocked the door; I’d just say, ‘Move out of the way,’ and just walk out.”

Finally, the host wonders how much these guys regret bullying him during school days even because he has become a worldwide K-Pop star, and the TXT leader concluded, saying, “I hope so.”
