TXT’s Soobin recently lit up the internet after showing off a quirky skill on MBC’s Radio Star. He proudly revealed his self-taught talent of speed-eating watermelon, proving it only takes him three seconds. The idol confessed he practiced by eating an entire watermelon over two days, and attempting to have a large slice in three seconds. The other guests quickly cheered on him for the effort and his sense of humor. With this appearance, Soobin wanted to showcase a new side of his group, proving they all have huge variety show potential. “Our team isn’t that strong in variety shows, but I’m the closest we’ve got!” He declared.
“We’re in our 7th year. Do you really have to do all that?”
Despite the roast, Soobin remained true to his goofy charm and watermelon-eating ability. While it may not be the skill we expected from a K-pop star, it sure gave everyone something to talk about! The fun moment comes just before TXT’s big ACT: TOMORROW tour. The group announced they’ll kick it off with two shows in Seoul on August 22 and 23. In the US, they’ll perform in cities like San Jose, LA, Dallas, Rosemont, Atlanta, DC, and Newark throughout September and October 2025.
