TWS is back during the summer season with a refreshing single, “SODA SODA,” that surely will make you sweat on the dance floor. The idols, who are already kicking off the promotions of their Japanese comeback, have just revealed the first teaser of their title track.
On July 24 KST, TWS took over their official YouTube channel to release the very first teaser of the “SODA SODA” music video. The teaser showcases all the members working together at a beachside snack stand, dancing with carefree energy, and enjoying quiet moments by the sea.
The upcoming title track, “SODA SODA,” reminds us of the city-pop genre modernized, bringing a groovy bassline and nostalgic analog synthesizer sounds. Youngjae and Jihoon participated in composing the track, showcasing their growing musical talents.
The song’s title also carries a playful double meaning, combining “SODA,” the fizzy soft drink, with the Japanese expression “sou da” (そうだ), meaning “that’s right.” There’s no doubt that the idols will be celebrating once again the excitement of youth with the bubbly feeling of a soda.
