In recent days, TWS are gaining praise for using their variety show to raise awareness about missing children, perfectly mixing the entertainment with the help of important causes.
In a new update to their variety show ‘TWS:CLUB,’ the group has incorporated a missing children awareness campaign, which appears at the end of each episode, providing detailed information about a missing child.
This information is accompanied by heartfelt voice messages from the members encouraging viewers to participate in the campaign, which reportedly came from leader Shinyu‘s recent appearance on a TV show focused on missing children’s cases.
This experience moved the TWS leader and inspired him to find a way to help, which later turned into this project in collaboration with the National Center for the Rights of the Child. In a recent statement, the idol shared his motivation and thoughts on the campaign:
“After learning about missing children through the broadcast, I realized how important public attention is.”
“The members and I discussed how we could help more people, including our fandom 42, become aware of this issue. That’s why we decided to include the campaign in our content. It may be a small effort, but we hope to continue it moving forward.”
